CLS Money announces Gold Geese as its Charity of the Year 2020
Following the successful launch of CLS Money’s charity initiative, ‘A Good Cause’, which helped to raise over £4,000 for ‘Lady McAdden Breast Screening Trust’ last year, CLS is delighted to announce ‘Gold Geese’ as its Charity of the Year for 2020.
Gold Geese is a charity run by a team of mums in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, who aim to support local families fighting childhood cancers and raise awareness of the vital signs and symptoms. They receive no government or outside funding, despite the much needed care and funding for additional therapies they provide, and are therefore completely reliant on public donations.
Katie Southgate, Founder and Trustee of Gold Geese, said: “As a rapidly growing charity that aims to remain local, small and personal to our families, we are delighted to welcome CLS Money to our flock of supporters and look forward to building a strong and successful partnership together.”
Clayton Shipton, Managing Director at CLS, said: “We have seen first-hand, the great work Gold Geese does for local children and their families, and are really looking forward to supporting their vital work within the community, by organising a number of fundraising events and activities throughout the course of the year.”
